Where the time goes
In most professional firms the fee-earning work isn’t the problem. The time goes on the routine around it:
- chasing clients for records, signed letters and the same few documents, often more than once;
- onboarding a new client, from ID checks to the engagement letter;
- checking for conflicts across more than one system, especially after a merger;
- writing up site notes and inspections into a familiar report layout;
- keeping track of key dates, such as rent reviews and filing deadlines, in individual diaries.
We start with the business problem, not the technology. Sometimes the answer is an AI agent. Sometimes it’s a dashboard, an approval step or a decision not to automate at all.
What we’ve built
A finance and accounting business had its policies, procedures and everyday know-how spread across folders, drives and people’s own AI tools. The same questions kept being asked, and the answers didn’t always match. We built one governed source of truth, with a simple way to ask a question and get back the approved answer, with the owner’s name and the date on it. We also wrote the firm an AI policy and trained the team on it. Read the knowledge base case study.
For a creative agency, we automated routine invoice chasing while keeping disputed and sensitive accounts with a person. Chasing fell from the best part of a week each month to about an hour a week. Read the collections case study.
What we won’t automate
Advice, professional judgement and anything a qualified person signs off stay with people. AI can prepare the first draft, gather the documents and flag what’s missing; a person decides what goes to the client. Every Blueprint ends with a written list of what not to automate, and in a professional firm that list matters as much as the rest.
How an engagement works
Before anything else, there’s a thirty-minute conversation with a founder. If a Blueprint isn’t the right next step, we’ll say so.
Blueprint · one month
We spend a month inside your workflows and systems and identify where AI would move a number you already care about. You leave with an operating plan you own, whether or not we build it, including a written list of what not to automate.
Build · at least six months
We build the system the Blueprint calls for, connected to the tools you already use, with approvals, spend caps and a log of every action from day one.
Embed · ongoing
Training, an operating rhythm, clear ownership and regular reviews, until your team runs and improves the system without us.

Who you’ll work with
The founders, Trent Peek and Richard Ardis, scope and lead every engagement. We’re based in Nottingham and work with firms across the UK, on site and remotely.
Common questions
Do you work with accountants, solicitors and land agents?
Yes. We work with owner-led professional services firms across the UK, typically with 5 to 50 staff. Our published work includes a finance and accounting business, where we built a governed knowledge base so the team got the same approved answer every time.
Will AI give advice to our clients?
No. Advice, professional judgement and anything you sign off stay with your qualified people. We take on the admin around the client work, such as chasing documents, onboarding and first drafts, and a person approves anything that goes to a client.
How do you handle client data?
Before anything is built, the Blueprint maps what data each task needs, and we agree with you what stays out. The agentic systems we build have approvals, spend limits and a record of every action, and we can write an AI policy with you so the team knows what can and can’t go into an AI tool.
What does it cost?
The first step is a one-month Blueprint at a fixed fee, set out on our AI strategy consulting page. Build and Embed are scoped from what the Blueprint finds, and you can stop after any step.
What happens in the first conversation?
Thirty minutes with a founder about what keeps costing your firm time. If a Blueprint isn’t the right next step, we’ll say so and tell you what is.
