What Woodlark does

Woodlark Associates is a UK business consultancy enabled by AI, founded and led by Trent Peek and Richard Ardis. We help business owners understand what needs to change, build the client-specific software that supports that change, and work personally with them on sales and running the business.

We start with the business problem. AI is one of the tools we use to solve it; selling AI is not the service.

How we work

A first conversation

We begin with a conversation about your business: what is working, what is getting in the way, and where practical help would make a difference. Together we agree the work that would be useful, including what not to automate.

Monthly work built for you

We work with you month by month, building client-specific software and improving the workflows agreed with you. That can include dashboards, integrations and approval queues connected to the tools your team already uses. The proposal sets out the client-specific deliverables, what transfers to you, what remains Woodlark’s reusable intellectual property, and which third-party services continue after handover.

Personal coaching and mentoring

Alongside the software, Trent works with you in person as a business and sales coach and mentor. Our personal sales and business coaching and mentoring is grounded in the decisions you face. We help the people leading the business make decisions and help their teams adopt new ways of working. The Embed stage brings training, regular reviews and clear responsibility into everyday work.

The people behind the work

Trent Peek leads the systems work: software, data, permissions and the practical build. His background includes business development and business leadership. He built Gardn, a consumer gardening app released in twenty countries. Explore Gardn.

Who we work with

We focus on owner-led UK firms with about 5–50 staff and at least ten years of trading behind them. The starting point is a specific business problem and a willingness to involve the people doing the work.
