Who we are
Woodlark Associates Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17031332), with its registered office at 124–128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration ZC137468, and VAT registered (GB514057909).
What this website collects
This is a static website. It sets no cookies and does not use advertising identifiers, browser storage, fingerprinting or session replay. It uses a small first-party measurement script so we can understand whether the site is useful and which routes lead to genuine enquiries.
The measurement records the page path (never its query string), broad source or referring-site category, approved campaign labels, selected calls to action, form outcomes and one coarse engagement signal. It does not record your name, email address, company, message, IP address, full referring URL, keystrokes or a visitor or session identifier. As with any web request, Cloudflare processes the connection information needed to deliver and protect the service; an IP address may be checked against a short-lived abuse limit, but Woodlark does not write it to analytics. Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals turn the browser measurement off. Anonymous event data is processed in Cloudflare Analytics Engine and is retained there for up to three months.
When you send the contact form, we collect the name, email address, company and message you type in. Those details are sent to a small Cloudflare Worker (the code that runs the form) and delivered straight to us by email through Resend, the email provider that handles the sending. Nothing you type is kept in a database on this site — the message simply lands in our inbox. If you have JavaScript turned off, the form falls back to opening your own email client with the details filled in instead.
To stop the form being flooded, Cloudflare also checks your IP address against a short-lived rate limit when you submit — that's a count against the address, used only to slow repeated sends, held only for the moments the check needs, and never joined to what you wrote or used for anything else.
If you'd like anything you've sent us removed, email hello@woodlarkassociates.co.uk and one of the founders will handle it.
What we hold about you
The only personal data we hold is what you choose to send us:
- Email correspondence. If you email us, we hold your name, email address, and whatever you include in your message, for as long as the correspondence is live and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Bookings. If you book a call through Calendly, your booking details are processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy, and shared with us so we can hold the meeting.
- Client engagements. If we work together, we hold the information needed to deliver the engagement and meet our legal obligations (for example invoicing records), for the periods UK law requires.
How we use it
To reply to you, to prepare for and hold meetings you book, to deliver work you engage us for, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@woodlarkassociates.co.uk and one of the founders will handle it personally.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date at the top.
