From fragmented files to a governed company brain
A finance and accounting business had important information scattered across folders, drives, Slack and individual AI tools — creating repeated questions, inconsistent answers and weak governance.

The challenge
Important knowledge, policies, brand assets and day-to-day working information were spread across folders, drives and informal conversations. Staff were repeatedly asking the same questions and had no reliable route to the current answer or approved asset.

What Woodlark built
Woodlark created a governed company knowledge system: a controlled shared source of truth, with a Slack-based way for people to ask everyday questions and find the relevant approved information. Operational knowledge, ownership information, marketing assets and current brand materials were brought into a clearer structure. Woodlark also introduced an AI policy and training.

The change
The business had a more consistent route to current knowledge and a stronger basis for accountable, appropriate AI use. Rather than relying on scattered files or ungoverned individual tools, teams could work from shared sources and agreed practices.
