Who these terms apply to
These terms and conditions apply to all customers of Studio Woodlark and Studio Woodlark Hospitality, both trading names of Woodlark Associates Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17031332).
By making a payment to Woodlark Associates Ltd, you agree to these terms in full.
What you are buying
Studio Woodlark — Standard package (£750)
A professionally designed website built for your business, including:
A complete website built using publicly available information about your business A .co.uk domain registered in your name, where no suitable domain was already in use (subject to availability under £10 at time of registration) Website hosting for year one from the date of purchase An SSL certificate active from the date of launch A PDF handover document containing all relevant credentials and instructions
Studio Woodlark Hospitality — Standard package (£750)
Everything listed above, plus:
An online booking system powered by TableAgent, embedded in your website Step-by-step instructions to activate your TableAgent account and connect it to your site
What is not included
The following are explicitly excluded from both packages:
Edits or design changes after handover Ongoing technical support or maintenance SEO services of any kind Social media setup or management Any service not listed above under "What you are buying"
If you require ongoing support, we offer a separate optional plan. Details are available on request.
No refund policy
We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, with one exception.
Exception: If we are unable to register a suitable .co.uk domain for your business within 48 hours of payment, and you do not have an existing domain to deploy to, we will issue a full refund within 5 working days.
The no-refund policy exists because you will have previewed your completed website before making any payment. By paying, you confirm that you have reviewed the preview and are satisfied that the site meets your requirements.
If you are not satisfied with the preview, do not pay.
Domain registration and renewal
Where we register a domain on your behalf:
The domain is registered in your name from the point of purchase All login credentials for the domain registrar account are provided to you in the handover document Domain renewal from year two onwards is your sole responsibility, handled directly with the registrar We accept no liability for loss of a domain resulting from failure to renew
Where you provide an existing domain:
We will deploy your website to your existing domain following payment DNS instructions will be provided in the handover document We accept no responsibility for issues arising from your existing domain registration or hosting arrangements
Hosting
Hosting is included for year one from the date of purchase. After year one, hosting arrangements and any associated costs are your responsibility. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of any hosting changes but accept no liability for service interruption after the first year.
Intellectual property
On receipt of full payment, all intellectual property rights in the website content — including copy, design, and images sourced or created for your site — transfer to you in full.
Images sourced from Unsplash are subject to the Unsplash licence. A copy of the relevant licence terms is available at unsplash.com/license.
We retain the right to display your website as an example of our work in our own marketing materials, unless you request otherwise in writing.
What we need from you
To deliver your website we may require:
Access to your existing domain registrar account (for DNS configuration) Your TableAgent restaurant ID (Studio Woodlark Hospitality customers only) Any specific information you wish to correct or update on your site prior to launch
We aim to launch all sites within 24 hours of payment. Delays caused by failure to provide required information are not our responsibility.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We accept no liability for any loss of business, revenue, or profit arising from use or non-use of your website We accept no liability for any third-party service interruption, including but not limited to Cloudflare, TableAgent, or your domain registrar Our total liability to you in connection with any purchase shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that purchase
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Right to refuse service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any business at our sole discretion, including after payment has been received. In the event that we refuse service after payment, a full refund will be issued within 5 working days.
Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. We will not apply updated terms retrospectively.
